Hiking Asahel Curtis Sno-Park

Just west of Snoqualmie Pass, the Asahel Curtis Sno-Park includes two miles of beginner snowshoe trails along a creek, two restrooms and a parking area that is routinely plowed. This is also the parking area for the winter route to Franklin Falls

To find the Sno-Park, take exit 47 from I-90, then cross to the north side of the Interstate. This road quickly ends at a T intersection. Turn right and you will be in the Sno-Park. Find parking along this road and display your Sno-Park pass.

Continue walking in on this road to access a couple different winter recreation opportunities. Shortly after the road crosses under I-90, it forks. Turn right to access the snow play area with restrooms and 2 miles of beginner snowshoe trails. Turning left at the fork will take you down Forest Road 58 for 2.75 miles to the start of the Franklin Falls Trailhead.

If you choose to walk in on the Franklin Falls Trail, know that the falls sit in a basin that is at the bottom of an avalanche chute. Please be aware of the avalanche conditions and be cautious if you choose to enter the basin.

Please note that this Sno-Park is different from the Annette Lake Sno-Park, which is on the south side of I-90. The Asahel Curtis Sno-Park is on the north side of I-90.
